Each game time includes balanced competition so that all children have a chance to participate and to win.
The point system is in place to encourage effort and increase the excitment of the evening. Points are given for good behaviour, good sportsmanship, honesty, etc and not just for winning the games themselves.
Game time is made up of various circle games that are unique to the AWANA program. AWANA has come up with hundreds of games that children have not played anywhere else. Children love this time of the AWANA program. Our four-color teams compete and develop an appreciation of working as a team.
Game time helps to attract children to AWANA where they will hear the gospel message and learn principles of Christian living. Game time also:

- develops good sportsmanship
- gives clubbers exercise
- encourages children to excel
